- In March of 1937, Im Kwang Sook opened Soochangdang Oriental Pharmacy.
- The founder of Daejeon University, Im Dal Kyu, inherited his fathers Soochangdang and opened Hyehwadang Oriental Pharmacy in September of 1957. In March, 1980, with endlessly practiced philosophy of national development and culture creation to establish Daejeon University in Daejeon.
- Afterwards in March, 1982, Oriental Hospital of Daejeon University was opened in Eunhaeng-dong of Daejeon and along with the role of Oriental Medicine Education Institute in Daejeon Chungcheong region, we inherited and developed our traditional medical practice to fulfill a pioneer role of Oriental medicine treatment development.
